The KCPA Annual Projected Digital Imaging Competition. This year (2011) Seaford Photographic Association are hosting the KCPA Annual Projected Digital Imaging Competition. This is a Projected Image Competition for individual photographers.
Awards. Whilst there are no entry categories the judge will decide which entries best meet the criteria for the awards on offer. The “best overall image” will be awarded the Digital Imaging Trophy and the premier award certificate.
PAGB Gold Medals and certificates will be awarded by the judge for:
- Best Natural History
- Best pictorial
- Best portrait
- Best record
The awards will be presented on Sunday 27th November 2011 at an event hosted by Seaford Photographic Society at Detling Village Hall Pilgrims Way Detling Maidstone Kent ME14 3JT
Rules. The KCPA’s “Generic Entry Rules” for photography competitions apply.
Entry Rules. Each individual member may enter up to a maximum of six images. Entries shall be submitted to Seaford Photographic Society 47 Headland Avenue Seaford East Sussex BN25 4PZ. Entries should be listed on the entry form in order of preference: the lower preference images may be withdrawn if the total number of entries proves unmanageable. Entries shall be submitted on a CD or DVD. The closing date for receipt of CDs/DVDs will be 5pm on 7th October 2011. A CD/DVD must contain only one photographer’s entries. The images must be a maximum of 1024 pixels wide and 768 pixels high. The images will be projected in the sRGB colour space. The CD/DVD must contain only one “folder” (aka “directory”) which must have the photographer’s name. The entry fee for the competition is £1 per image, maximum 6 images per photographer, and must be submitted with the entry form and CD/DVD.
